Transcript

Chas : Take us through the day. Why don’t you take us through a day in the life of Bob Lanham running AR at Meta, so what do you love doing and what is your biggest challenge day to day week to week? n

n Bob : Yeah. And listen, I haven’t apologized yet but apologize, my voice. It for some reason wants to go away, but I’m gonna power through this man. I’m going to pull out my old Elon football skills and power through this, you know, a day in the life is interesting, man, it’s not the same every day. And I’ll tell you, you know, start off with what I love about my job. I love talking to dealers. I love to be connected to as many dealers as possible. n

nI love listening to them first and foremost, right? What do they need, what’s their frustrations with their business look like, right now, while I can’t obviously solve everything that they have going on, I at least try to listen to them and see what we have to offer or where we can play to try to help them and, and obviously, the the marketing or advertising side of the businesses is where we, you know, where we play the most, n

nI guess, if you want to add lead gen, I, you know, one of the same. Um, you know, the most challenging part, I’ll be honest, is when our systems break at times and need to be fixed. You know, we’re a very big business, we’ve got, you know, millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of clients that are actively using our platforms on a daily basis. n

nSo, you know, sometimes, like many businesses and many products out there, you know, our platform might might break or might be challenged at the moment, and I will hear from it, but I don’t hear from it by one or two dealers, I have to hear it by scale, right, I get to hear it at scale. So, um, but outside of that, you know, we’re working with our product teams, you know, we’ve got sales teams out there covering dealer groups and, and agencies, we, you know, we work with DOL OEMs, and their Co Op programs. n

nSo they’ve got agencies tied to their Co Op program. So, you know, at the end of the day, it all comes down to their advertising and marketing, which as many know is their second or third largest, largest expenditure at the dealership. So it’s, it’s making sure they’re maximizing that spend, and then more importantly, maximizing that spend with us.n
