Weeds in the Lawn Motivator Minute

Transcript

Sean Kelley : The natural state of the world, if left unchecked, is to devolve into chaos. That’s why when you let your yard grow, grass starts dying, the woods start creeping into your yard, weeds start sprouting up everywhere. Many passionate business leaders become frustrated when their processes don’t stick or when their team’s performance dips. What I teach leaders is that your business is no different from a yard, it requires ongoing maintenance. Competition will always be creeping in and bad habits will always begin to develop.n

nAnd that’s because chaos is always trying to consume us. When you look at what we as people are able to create and maintain. It’s beautiful. But those beautiful things didn’t happen by accident. When you expect issues, you expect issues to pop up, you can then come in objectively seek to uncover why they exist. What’s allowing them to pop up in the first place and then systematically rip them out over time. Create the business landscape you want. But rest easy knowing that this is a natural part of having a business as long as you have a business and a team. You can never stop addressing things we must always remain vigilantnn
